- 4 medium-sized pieces (about 1 pound total) cube steaks

- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon (adjust to personal taste) salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil – avocado oil, olive oil, or your favorite variety
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper – optional if desiring heat
Instructions
- Pat dry the cube steaks with a paper towel.
- Combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
- Coat both sides of each steak in the dry mixture, shaking off any surplus.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
- Spray or brush the inside of the air fryer basket with a little oil.
- Place the coated cube steaks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 400°F for 8 minutes, flipping the steaks halfway through.
- Check the internal temperature (145°F minimum) and cook for additional time if needed.
- Optional: Brush the steaks with garlic butter or serve with gravy for extra flavor.
